so if i've learned anything the past 7 weeks, it's to keep the expectation of what i can get done each day very, very low. like be happy if i manage to bathe and feed myself kind of low :). neither of those things are very easy with a little munchkin attached to your chest 23.5 hours out of the day. as hard as it's been and as exhausted as we all are around here, each day gets a little easier and with each smile that we get it all seems worth it.

some of you may have noticed that yesterday was yarntini day in the 2008 stitch 'n bitch calendar. i was so freaking excited and honored to be included with all the amazing designers and dyers and had big plans for a contest and fun things to celebrate but unfortunately, the timing stinks. there's just not enough energy to spare. i've had a bunch of emails from people asking about our store and whether or not everything really is out of stock and unfortunately the answer is yes. i am working on dyeing yarn to post and hope to have enough soon. most likely toward the end of February. our focus has been on getting orders out to our retail stores and some of those will start to get stock back in in February as well. in the same vein, there have been a few requests for the yarn featured in the Sensual Knits book (which i haven't had a chance to post about yet) and i hope to have that available for special order within the next few weeks. i'll keep you posted on that. please be patient with us while we get back in the swing of things. i've been dyeing since G arrived and i'm not planning on stopping anytime soon!

and now for some more pics before going back to work...

thank you again to everyone for the well wishes and congratulations. i haven't had the chance to email you all back individually but know that the yarntini clan has appreciated your messages very much!
