Sorry for the quiet, but we're down in Florida visiting the fam and they gots no interwebs!! I'm going to make my daily sojourn to the 'Bucks and check in with stuff. I'm compiling the list of peeps for the sock club and should get out a confirmation email to everyone this week. If you have any questions at all, please comment or drop me an email and I'll get back as soon as possible.

Thank you so much everyone for the great response to the club! I think it's going to be a lot of fun!! I will leave sign-ups open probably until we leave on the 15th or 16th for Christmas break. There are spots still available so just leave a comment or email me if you're interested or have any questions.
I've sent out all invoices to those that left their email address so if you have not received one, let me know. There are a few people that I'm still waiting to hear from so there may have been a typo or something in the address. I'll try resending the unanswered invoices so keep an eye out.
Big day today!!! Van is one! I still have tons of pictures to upload from this past weekend. His zoo party was so much fun. I still have to make his cake for tonight and then we're just gonna have some friends over. He has his one-year doctors appointment today at 2. I wanted to have a cry-free birthday but today was the only day that we could get with his regular doctor before we leave. He's much better with the shots than I am though so it shouldn't be too bad. I found an awesome place for martinis yesterday so we might just have to hit up that joint again today :).

Hey! Just checking in with ya'll to say thank you for all your kind words and for sticking with us through the confusion. Everyone who's commented is in the club and there are still spots available. I'll work though out tomorrow getting out all the invoices and if you have any questions in the mean time, just let me know. Thanks again!!
okay, so this is so not the way I wanted to do this, but right now it seems like the only option. If you would like to join the yarntini Happy Hour sock club, please leave a comment with your email address, which country your shipment will be sent to, and whether you will be paying in full or in three payments. We will then send a Paypal invoice to the address given. If payment is not received in 48 hours, your spot will be given to the next available person. I will close comments on this post when all available spots are filled.
I sincerely apologize for the trouble. I know this is not the easiest way to do this (for me or for you!). This is our very first sock club and I know that from here on out things will run much more smoothly. Thank you!!!

crap. we've already hit a snag. of course. give us a few minutes and we'll figure it out (hopefully!).
Okay, so 9:00 is almost upon us. I've gotten several questions about the club so I'll try answer them here as well in case anyone else is wondering.
All skeins will be our normal fingering weight. Each has approximately 415 yards/skein and is enough for a pair of socks.
You will be able to choose from one skein of vintage, appletini, or 4-8-15-16-23-42 self-striping. These colorways can be seen on our main site, www.yarntini.net. There will be no substitutions given. If we decide to do the club again after March, there will be a different selection of self-striping to choose from.
We've decided to offer a payment plan option of three equal payments. Shipments to the US will be $43/month, $48 to Canada, and $50 outside US/Canada. Payment in full for the US is $110, Canada $125, and outside US/Canada $130.
This will be our first time working with the Paypal buttons on this site so there may be some kinks when we get them posted. Please bear with us and if it fails for whatever reason we will figure out a way to get everyone signed up. Keep your fingers crossed and be sure to check back here at 9!
If you have any questions, remember to email jessie AT yarntini DOT net or leave a comment and we'll back to you asap.
Thanks!!!

Oy! 8 days until Van's first birthday, two days until the grand-parental units arrive, three days until the big zoo birthday party (his first of many in the next week or so), 12 days until we leave for Florida for two weeks, and about 15 seconds until I completely lose my mind (although mr.yarntini would say that it's been gone for a while now)! Thankfully the fever that the baby's had for the past few days is gone. I think he asked for a couple of top teeth for his birthday to go with his two bottoms and it looks like he might get them. Not that he needs 'em, he's been handling everything from Indian food to burgers just fine. The spicier, the saucier, the meater, the better.
So in all this birthday hullabaloo I have a gift for you all. A little thank you for all the support we've been given over the past year. You don't get it yet though :)... come back Friday in the AM for a super fun yarn-y announcement!
Lots and lots of cleaning to do and I think I've procrastinated enough. I hope all the US'ers out there had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I can't believe it's December already. If you're looking for Christmas yarn, we've got a few skeins left in the Etsy shop, including some chunky weight that will make for a super fast hat, neckwarmer, or gloves.
