The new 80/20 merino/nylon sock (in front) compared to our 100% merino sock (in back).
I'm really loving this base. It has a nice tight twist and takes color beautifully. These skeins are dyed in the April semi-solid colorway so I altered the photo. No spoilers here. It's a teeny-tiny bit finer than our regular 100% merino sock but will still take between a 0-3 US needle size. It's listed as having approx. 420 yards and this skein clocked in at 432. More than enough for a nice size pair of socks. I'm working on a swatch and will try to have pics up sometime this weekend. If you have any questions about the new base or are on the fence about which one to choose for the club, just let me know!

Can we switch if we've already signed up? And would you mind sharing your thoughts about how it compares to the wool fingering weight? Now I'm undecided!
it's gorgeous!! now I'm so excited I signed up for the 80/20-- can't wait to see what color it is for real!
I also signed up for the 80/20. So excited! But I got an error message when Paypal tried to redirect me back here. Crossing fingers that I got in!
