Just a quick note for anyone that may be waiting for an email from me or club members that are waiting for October's recipe.... What was supposed to be a quick visit to a friend's home two states over has turned in to a slightly longer stay due to some car troubles. I will be back home again this weekend (1200 bucks poorer, I might add, but at least my car has brakes) and will try to get caught up with everything asap. The past two weeks have been a complete disaster and this has really just been the icing on the cake, but thankfully we at least get to spend some more time with good friends and I get a much needed mini-break. I just wish it hadn't cost so much ;).

Well, look at it this way, a vacation would cost about that much and you'd be spending the money on room and board/food/adventures. This way, you're getting the vacation and the benefit of something practical for your hard earned cash.

Oh dear - I am so sorry to hear about your trials! Ugh. I hope things are looking up soon! BTW, you really hit it out of the park with the gorgeous October colorways!
